Law Firm in Irvine has an immediate opening for legal assistant position. The ideal candidate should have experience working with civil litigation attorneys with diligent attention to detail, manage cases and clients. This is a fast‐paced position, so the candidate needs to be able to multi‐task with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients, including gathering necessary information or documents for discovery.
  • File documents with state and federal courts.
  • Calendar hearings and deadlines, calculating those deadlines based on documents received.
  • Assist in the administrative responsibilities of the office.
  • Drafting some court filings and preparing court forms.
  • Preparing additional documents (e.g., discovery) depending on experience.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of state and federal court filing guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate in person, by e‐mail and telephone
  • Highly organized and detailed
