Join a growing Houston-based General Contractor specializing in commercial retail projects, known for their commitment to quality, safety, and on-time delivery. They are currently expanding their operations in the Dallas area and are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead their projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial retail projects.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure that all construction work complies with company standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Ensure the highest level of quality control on all construction activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial retail projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX.
