Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the technical publications field, including a thorough knowledge of technical publication development. Facility (warehouses, ride buildings, office buildings and hotels) technical documentation experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with technical subject research.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical documentation related to mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Ability to use documentation tools and software such as Adobe FrameMaker or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed technical documents including publishing of site-specific technical content supporting a long-term sustainment program for facilities and resorts. This includes manufacturer's requirements documents, facility requirement documents, maintenance instructions, training materials, and associated technical content.
  • Develop latest content based on input from engineering, quality, and maintenance teams.
  • Translate complex information into clear and concise content that is easy to understand and follow.
  • Develop graphic representations of technical system operation.
  • Enter, configure, and proof technical content, coordinate workflow including editing reviews, approvals, and final publishing to the technical document repository.
  • Work independently while supporting cross-functional teams at remote locations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all documentation following established guidelines and styles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
