Accounting / Bookkeeping / Customer Service

Bookkeeper and Accountant

Up to $30.00 per hour to start plus full benefits

As Bookkeeper and Accountant, you will:

  • Join a manufacturer and distributor of Medical Equipment for the Healthcare Industry
  • Receive complete training
  • Administer Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Perform bank statement reconciliations and manage cash
  • Handle inventory accounting functions
  • Facilitate month-end close and year-end close processes
  • Review and analyze financial statements
  • Review and reconcile credit card and vendor statements
  • Process commissions using Crystal Reports
  • Administer tax documentation
  • Review credit applications for new accounts
  • Run routine and special reports
  • Conduct routine and special analysis
  • Perform vendor management functions
  • Handle special projects
  • Provide additional administrative, customer service, data entry and accounting support as requested

An ideal candidate profile will include:

  • General Accounting experience
  • Accounts Payable experience
  • Accounts Receivable experience
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with Accounting Coursework

Pluses:

  • +++ Sage experience
  • +++ Crystal Reports experience
  • +++ Experience in a paperless office

Southwest Suburbs of Chicago - Burr Ridge, IL

This is a contact assignment with a STRONG POSSIBILITY of converting to a full time, direct-hire job in approximately 3 months.

Partial benefits will be available from JobGiraffe throughout the duration of your contract assignment.
