Machine Technician

1. Start up the foam cell and operate it. Work closely with and assist with training two (2) or more operators per shift. Provide guidance to production cell operators -- one loading and the other packing parts -- at each end of the cell.*
2. Prepare the cell for the next scheduled shift in an efficient skilled manner.*
3. Monitor and organize incoming work cell materials, and request supplies and parts, as required.*
4. Change pails of foam materials.*
5. Monitor quality and production; work cooperatively with tooling, quality assurance and engineering staff.*
6. Work with manufacturing manager to ensure alternate employees are always available during breaks, or comfort reasons, to keep the cell operating nonstop.*
7. Follow all company procedures and work instructions, both written and verbal, completing all required paperwork daily.*
8. Make minor adjustments, as required and instructed, to operate and control each of the major components of the robotic cell using computer, electronic input panel, pneumatic and mechanical controls and interfaces. .*
9. Learn to operate, control and troubleshoot predictable failures.*
10. Calibrate robotic end of arm tooling (EOT) with foam dispensing equipment.*
11. Disassemble and reassemble valves, which house a combined two (2) part silicone compound. Follow the established procedure in place to disconnect and disassemble valves, thoroughly clean, replace consumables parts, reassemble, bench test the valves, mount to the foam dispensing equipment and calibrate with two (2) robots.*
