Micrographic Computer Services Inc, a 30+ year leader in today’s office equipment and technology industry, continues to provide sales and service, on copiers, printers, plotters, PCs, laptops, faxes, and registers for commercial and residential businesses in the Tri-State Area. Headquartered in Morrisville, PA, MCS currently has an excellent opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our winning team as a Copier/Printer Technician.

Candidate must be able to effectively execute all required territory management and call handling procedures, including timely completion of paperwork, parts usage, problem/repair service history reports, and time records.

Position is full time. The current territory available is in New Jersey and includes sites in multiple counties not limited to Burlington, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Camden, and Ocean. Company vehicle is provided, and technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records monthly.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Maintain and repair equipment on-site/off-site. Provide field support to remediate issues pertaining to printers, copiers, plotters, faxes, and scanners. Basic knowledge of PCs and IT equipment required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with customers, understanding concerns, complaints, and working productively to decipher issues and provide resolutions.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and have knowledge of parts required to maintain, and repair issues
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory, for parts, tools, and supplies in stock
  • Test new systems to ensure that they are in working order
  • Operate machine to test functioning of parts and machines
  • Ability to use hand tools and be mechanically included
  • Desire to grow within the company
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience working with office equipment: printers, copiers, plotters, laptops, computers, and laptops
  • Must possess a high school diploma. A technical school certificate is preferred but not necessary
  • Must have EXCELLENT customer service, communications, and trouble-shooting skills. With a proven commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Must have a valid and clean driver’s license and be willing to submit to a background check

We will provide a monthly stipend for health insurance benefits.
