JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Services Manager is responsible for leading Eco Material Technologies research and product development team in the execution of product development efforts between sales and production, supporting Eco Material Technologies’ existing business and emerging opportunities. This position also works closely with R&D, quality, and lab services to fulfill internal testing requests. The position requires strong technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills and deep organizational leadership experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures

· Analyze and compare test results with Standards, tolerances, and targets to ensure performance of supplementary cementitious materials.

· Coordinate product development projects between sales and production including the design of experiment and analyses of data for conclusions and recommendations.

· In some cases, support the project initiatives by conducting the actual testing.

· Support the development of technical sales documents to promote the use of new and existing products.

· Support sales representatives in resolving regular customer issues and requests.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Kowledge on analytical techniques and instrumental analysis related to cementitious materials.

· Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO and other test methods and specifications related to supplementary cementitious materials.

· Knowledge of concrete mix proportioning.

· Knowledge of testing concrete fresh and hardened properties.

· Ability to self-motivate & work in deadline driven environment.

· Exceptional communication and reporting skills.

· Solid working knowledge required; concrete/cement production, databases & office software.

· Outstanding leaderships skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.

· Present information internally and publicly

· May travel up to 25%.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

· 3 - 5 years' experience in functional role

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

· Prolong standing or in stationary position

· Complete repetitive movements such as typing

· Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

· Complete repetitive movements

· Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)

· Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds

· Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

· Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders

· Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
