What YOU will do: 

As the Talent Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing talent development programs across multiple Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sites. This role is responsible for embedding mentorship programs, driving employee engagement, training leaders to become effective hiring managers, conducting talent assessments and succession planning, develop and manage apprenticeship program and supporting overall workforce development activities. Additionally, the role will focus on promoting organizational excellence through continuous improvement and alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in talent management, organizational development, and leadership.

 

Talent Development Programs:

  • Design and implement talent development programs that support the growth and development of employees across multiple MRO sites.
  • Develop and manage embedded mentorship programs to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Create and facilitate training programs for leaders to enhance their skills as hiring managers.
  • Develop and manage apprenticeship program

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop strategies to increase employee engagement and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance communication and collaboration among employees and leaders.
  • Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and other activities to promote a positive work environment.

Talent Assessments and Succession Planning:

  • Conduct regular talent assessments to identify high-potential employees and areas for development.
  • Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a robust talent pipeline for key positions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address skill gaps and future talent needs.

Workforce Development:

  • Support general workforce development activities, including onboarding, training, and continuous learning programs.
  • Partner with HR and other departments to align talent development initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Mentorship and Coaching:

  • Serve as a mentor and coach for employees at all levels, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of talent development initiatives.

Organizational Excellence:

  • Drive initiatives to promote organizational excellence through continuous improvement and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that enhance organizational culture and performance.
  • Lead efforts to assess and optimize organizational structures, processes, and systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

What YOU need:     

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent development, HR, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing talent development programs, including mentorship and employee engagement initiatives.

SKILLS:            

  • Strong knowledge of talent assessment and succession planning methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus among diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and cultural competence.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Instructional and public speaking skills
  • Maintain and store various tools in a serviceable condition.
  • Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
  • Maintain and supply personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department.
  • Complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.
  • Perform any work that their supervisor may assign.
