E-Commerce Director

Role, Responsibilities, KPIs, Measurement Tools

 

Store Development & Maintenance (Shopify Plus):

· Continuously maintain and enhance the existing Shopify Plus site to increase sales, improve conversion rates, and ensure a seamless user experience.

· Oversee the visual and functional aspects of the store, including images, videos, graphics, and overall design to align with brand standards.

 

 

Competitor Analysis & Strategy:

· Regularly research competitors, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and prepare detailed notes and actionable insights on potential changes or improvements to the store.

· Conduct A/B tests to validate hypotheses before implementing significant changes, ensuring that all adjustments are data-driven and effective.

 

 

Marketing & Advertising:

· Develop and execute marketing and advertising campaigns across multiple channels including Google AdWords, retargeting, social media, and others.

· Monitor and control advertising budget, maximizing ROAS.

· Work with the marketing team to promote the website and products through social media platforms, increasing brand visibility and engagement.

· Design and execute email marketing campaigns targeted at past customers, with the goal of driving repeat sales and enhancing customer loyalty.

 

 

 

Customer Feedback / Reputation Management:

· Monitor and manage customer reviews to ensure high review scores, addressing any issues promptly and implementing changes based on customer feedback.

· Collaborate with quality and customer service teams to continually improve site accuracy, reduce errors, enhance the overall customer experience

· Work closely with product development team to add / modify products, ensure that the product offerings meet customer needs and market trends.

 

 

Reporting & Analytics:

· Generate and analyze reports on store performance, including sales, conversion rates, ROAS, and customer behavior.

· Provide plans for continuous improvement across all aspects of the store.

· Regular reporting to company President, explanation and discussion.

 

Required: Documented History of Managing a Shopify Store.

 

Pay rate: $100,000/year please % of Net Sales
