The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and executing various programs and events that bring together industry professionals and advance the industry as a whole.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the MichAuto team to develop and implement programs and events that align with our mission and goals
- Conduct research and stay current on industry trends and needs to continually improve our programs and events
- Manage logistics, including venue selection, budgeting, and contract negotiation, for each program and event
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, partners, and sponsors to ensure successful participation and support
- Coordinate and communicate with speakers, panelists, and presenters to ensure their needs are met and presentations are aligned with program goals
- Create and maintain event timelines, agendas, and materials to ensure smooth execution and a positive experience for participants
- Utilize various marketing and communication strategies to promote programs and events to industry professionals and target audiences
- Monitor and track program and event success, including attendance, feedback, and post-event activities
- Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling content and social media posts related to our programs and events
- Assist with other projects and tasks as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of MichAuto
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in event planning, program coordination, or related field
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry and its key players
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas for programs and events
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
Salary: $30,000 to $48,000 yearly
