Job Title: Purchasing and Receiving Specialist

Organization:Crane Manufacture Sales, Service, and Inspections

Job Status: Full-time

Location:Pompano Beach, FL

Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a preference for NetSuite experience, as we transition to this system. The Purchasing and Receiving Specialist will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of purchasing, receiving, and scheduling for our crane manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely receipt and shipment of goods, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our processes.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Organizing, Planning, and Scheduling:
- Efficiently plan and schedule the purchasing and receiving of goods.
- Establish and maintain a systematic approach to ensure timely availability of products.

2. Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to develop process flows and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shop fabrication and assembly of Crane components.
- Identify opportunities to enhance quality and efficiency in the purchasing and receiving processes.

3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate the timely receipt and shipment of goods.
- Collaborate with the quoting team to streamline and automate the quoting and ordering processes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in purchasing and receiving roles.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
