The Fathers & Families Coalition of Utah (FFCU) Program Director is to assist Prevention Specialist Educators and Coordinators with their job duties. The Director will ensure a safe and supportive environment for Youth and Adults to learn and grow. The Program Director will oversee the Building Uplifting Relationships, Nurturing Fathers Program, and Job Work Programs, including hiring staff, supervision, community engagement, curriculum planning and development, budgeting, data collection, reporting, and other administrative tasks.

The Program Director will not only oversee the programs but also play a key role in developing and sustaining community and volunteer partnerships to enhance our programming. This role empowers the Director to influence the direction and impact of our work. Our emphasis on evidence-based Psychoeducational (social-emotional learning) and trauma-informed practices ensures that the Director's influence is consistently developed and sustained in our program environment

Fathers & Families Coalition Of Utah in Wvc, UT is looking for one program director to join our 6 person strong team. We are located on 1455 West, 2200 South, Suite 103 Suite 103. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

  • The Program Director supervises and oversees the Prevention Specialists and Coordinators. There are also shared re-establishing the Fatherhood Coalition Community Organizer.
  • Supervise all program staff on site to ensure the quality service instructions and classroom practices.
  • Provide or coordinate ongoing safety procedures and track curriculum training for Program staff.
  • Facilitate weekly staff meetings with Program Coordinators and Educators.
  • Provide performance reviews for Coordinators and Educators.
  • Identify and disseminate professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Assist and maintain all Prevention staff and client records necessary for state grant requirements, including disclosures, Conflict of interest forms, licensing documentation, and any other relevant documentation.
  • The Program Director familiarizes and follows the state grant requirements program run by specific state grant outcomes & requirement procedures, which are crucial for our organization's continued funding and success.
  • The Program Director will work closely with the Executive Director, who will be responsible for overseeing the state contract analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in social behavior sciences, public administration, or related human services is preferred and an essential qualification for this role.
  • Our Program Director brings a wealth of experience, with two or more years of work experience supervising staff and overseeing youth and adult programs.
  • The Program Director's understanding of youth development programming, such as social-emotional learning, social skills training, service learning, and/or trauma-informed practices, is highly valued and preferred for this role.We are looking forward to receiving your application. Thank you.
