THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN TENNESSEE (A STATE WITH NO INCOME TAX) AND WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO RELOCATE THERE. THE COMPANY WILL HELP COVER RELOCATION EXPENSES.

Our client company, a very successful, well-known, and rapidly growing organization in the outdoors specialty equipment industry, is looking to hire a Director of HR for their Tennessee headquarters. The Director of HR will be responsible for providing leadership to champion the culture of the organization and engage the workforce to meet the needs of the business. This position oversees company-wide HR practices throughout their various manufacturing sites across the US, supporting the business through standardized processes and HR practices. Other responsibilities include employee communications and engagement, internal branding, DEI, CSR, learning, and development. Other responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the corporate culture by overseeing employee communications for branding, positioning, consistency, and relevancy with messaging;
  • Leading the company's CSR strategy and initiatives as well as the corporate wellness strategy for employees in addition to the corporate learning and development initiative;
  • Supporting succession planning via high potential programs;
  • Overseeing the performance management standards;
  • Providing training and coaching to HR staff throughout the company's business units, as well as overseeing onboarding and orientation processes;
  • Overseeing internship programs, supporting acquisition integrations, and overseeing translation services;
  • Occasional travel to business sites throughout the US;

To be considered for an interview, candidates MUST HAVE:

  • A 4 yr degree in HR or a related field;
  • 7+ years of experience in high-level HR Leadership in manufacturing and corporate environments;
  • SPHR/SHRM-SCP/CP preferred
  • Experience in managing a team
