Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a large reputable manufacturing company in search of a Production Assistant Manager to join our team You will be responsible for the support  of the production department with effective supervision to produce high quality parts in a safe, cost efficient manner. Comply with all company safety, quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain controlled documents outlining proper methods for all department procedures (FMEA, CP, WS, VA, CS)
  • Create monthly manpower plan based on the monthly forecast. Reaction plans need to be established when monthly schedule cannot be met. 
  • Create weekly overtime plans.
  • Confirm that all associates are following company’s safety requirements at all times. 
  • Confirm corrective actions for all safety concerns within your department (SCARs) are completed properly addressing the actual root cause of the concern.
  • Oversee the daily production schedule (quantities, changeovers, PPAPs). Daily production plan needs to be understood by all associates and all positions need to be assigned. Reaction plans need to be established when the daily schedule cannot be met.
  • Oversee the daily shift report sheets. Daily shift report sheets need to be have accurate information for department improvement items to be established (Product quantity, down time, scrap

  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
  • Degree in Industrial Technology /related field or equivalent work experience.
