Administrative Assistant Assistant - Non-profit healthcare practice 

  • Bilingual Spanish MUST HAVE 
  • Does not require medical experience, prior administrative experience required. Potential for growth within the organization. 
  • Looking for: motivated and professional assistant who will play a key role in the organization during this period of growth. This person will assist all areas of the organization - front desk staff, medical assistants, wellness and care navigation staff, and providers - so that each area of the organization runs smoothly.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm (1 hour lunch break). This schedule can be flexible as long as it is 8 hours/day. No weekends.
Location/Parking: South End, Boston, MA 02118. Parking - Street parking and paid garages. 
Temp Pay: $20-$24/hr

Job Performance Responsibilities:
In this exciting role you will be responsible for a variety of critical responsibilities including:

  • Front Desk Support
    • Assist with answering phones and registering patients, especially covering lunches
    • Assist with greeting patients 
  • Medical Assistant Support
    • Assist with scanning of clinical documents
    • Assist with preparation of covid testing
    • Assist with preparing paperwork and cleaning rooms in between patients
  • Wellness and Care Navigation Support
    • Assist with preparation of weekly activities including weekly cooking class
    • Assist with family support with assistance of team members
    • Teaching yoga for children and families
  • Provider Support
    • Assist with preparation of monthly group well child visit program
    • Support other projects and tasks as needed
  • General Office Support
    • Assist with basic HR functions
    • Assist with general office functions
    • Support other projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Bi-cultural preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and partner with culturally diverse children, caregivers, professionals, and families; and to form solid collateral contacts with diverse partners and providers
  • Experience with and commitment to interdisciplinary care and an ability to work effectively with others including primary care and behavioral health professionals
  • A passion for company's mission and the movement of seeking a more equitable approach to health care.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, adjust quickly to shifting priorities, meet deadlines,
    exercise good judgment and handle high-pressure situations.
