Position Summary: The Application Support Specialist is primarily responsible for managing and supporting various applications, including company web applications, websites, eCommerce platforms, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. This role also involves providing technical support to users in both the office and warehouse. Additionally, the role includes minor responsibilities related to general IT tasks, such as addressing basic office computer issues, printer issues, networking issues, and supporting warehouse equipment.
The successful candidate will be highly driven and self-motivated, possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals at our Jurupa Valley facility.
Main Duties:
- Manage and maintain company web applications, websites, and eCommerce platforms.
- Provide support and maintenance for EDI and ERP systems.
- Provide technical support to office and warehouse users, promptly troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
- Assist in the implementation and integration of new applications and systems.
- Conduct regular application checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Document application processes and create user guides as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve application functionality and user experience.
- Work on assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company standards.
- Address basic IT tasks, such as troubleshooting office computer issues, printer issues, networking issues, and supporting warehouse equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing web applications, websites, and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong technical support skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with EDI and ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge of general IT tasks (computer, printer, network troubleshooting).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of EDI experience.
- 1 or more years of NetSuite or other ERP experience.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Amazon Vendor Central, Commerce Hub, etc.).
Schedule:
- Full Time
- 8-hour shift
- Monday through Friday
