Rework Operator (Final Inspection) - Anoka MN

Wage: -$20 an hour (or more with experience)

Shift: _ 1st shift- M-F 7am-3:30pm

MUST BE A US CITIZEN

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION-

To identify and rework solder defects and add components not added in assembly.

Do wire adds and modifications as necessary. Assemble printed circuit boards into a final assembly as required by the purchase order.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must accurately read and comprehend all paperwork pertaining to the job, such as blueprints, bills of material, inspection data, rework instructions, and quality standards.

  • Rework all components/solder joints using a soldering iron or rework equipment so the finished product complies with quality standards

  • Add/remove components using small hand tools such as pliers, tweezers, cutters and soldering equipment. Hand wash areas of the board where sensitive components have been hand soldered.

  • Complete inspection records, keeping accurate and detailed records

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Experience: basic mathematics required. Basic knowledge of electronic assembly and rework is helpful.

  • Basic data entry skills required.

  • Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 25 pounds.

  • Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.

Equipment Used: hand tools, solder iron and rework equipment, microscope, ring light, caliper, copier and computer.
