We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector to join our team at MultiSource Mfg. As an Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspections to verify product conformance to customer specifications.
- Conduct final inspections prior to plating and shipping to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Accept or reject parts/products based on inspection results and customer specifications.
- Operate a CMM and perform measurement equipment verifications and/or calibrations as needed.
- Document inspection results and initiate DMRs as necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members and manufacturing personnel to resolve quality-related issues.
- Conform to the company quality system and maintain accurate records.
- Train new inspectors on processes and procedures.
- Work with the Supervisor to troubleshoot quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in machine shop inspection.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, ISO9000:2000, basic metrology, print reading, geometric tolerancing, and total quality systems.
- Ability to operate CMM, visual comparators, and other inspection equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CMM programming and editing.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols.
Working Conditions:
- No heavy lifting required.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
