Commercial Construction Superintendent Job Summary and Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years Commercial construction superintendent experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience working with Commercial General Contractor

Experience with tenant improvements, ground up construction, site & civil work and remodels. Knowledge of all areas/trades of commercial construction

Proficiency in blueprint/plan reading

Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Microsoft Project

Strong scheduling background, able to fully develop construction schedules and three-week look ahead schedules

Experience work with city and other inspectors on construction projects

Demonstrate a professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication

Proficient in using an IPhone & IPad to plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions (daily reports, quality reports, 3wk look ahead, etc.) Currently use AutoDesk Build for daily reports, safety reports, RFI’s, and Submittals.

Assist Project Management with updates to project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.

Develop, maintain, and enforce a project site logistics plan and temporary facilities plan.

 

Must have a minimum formal commercial construction safety training with:

•             OSHA 10/30

•             CPR (will provide if needed)

•             Participate with the Project Manager in the issuance of monthly progress reports, monthly payment applications, anticipated cost report, and other financial cost reports.

•             Higher education or technical training a plus

•             Good work ethic, Honesty, and a team player are some of the qualities we are looking for.

The Position available will be August 2024 with Temp Full-time status (with opportunity to become Full Time at completion of project).  Temp Full-time status includes very competitive benefits, 401K, Medical, Paid time off etc.

 

The immediate need is for a Project in: Eden Prairie, MN (sitework, ground-up construction and TI)

Project Valuation $ 10 Million

Project Duration 5- 6 Months Duration remaining of 17 Mos. total schedule

Start date: August 2024

Job Type: Temp Full-Time Superintendent

Salary:  +/- $ 110,000 depending on experience
