We are currently in search of an Assistant Project Supervisor to support the Site Superintendent in overseeing all facets of the construction process. This role is essential in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines, ultimately leading to optimal client satisfaction.
This position will involve on-site management of prestigious projects, providing leadership and direction to ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules
- Ensuring quality control measures are in place
- Reviewing and managing shop drawings
- Monitoring project costs
- Fostering client relationships and satisfaction
- Overseeing job site operations
- Coordinating with various trades
- Leading team efforts
- Implementing safety protocols
- Acting as a lead carpenter when necessary
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in construction or a degree in Construction Management or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in high-end custom home projects
- At least 2 years of carpentry experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Familiarity with accounting or database software is advantageous
- Effective time management skills
