The hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Customer Service /Inside Sales Representative Job Duties:
· Servicing a diverse group of customers ranging from the largest furniture manufacturers in the world to independent design studios throughout North America.
· Handle customer inquiries and entering incoming orders.
· Provide information to clients on the various products offered.
· Follow up on orders awaiting approval and payment.
· Support Outside Sales Representatives with customer related issues and opportunities.
· Retrieving orders that come in via fax, email or telephone.
· Work closely with the warehousing team to expedite orders and ensure orders are being processed.
· Troubleshooting problems with orders.
· Review internal requisitions for materials.
Customer Service /Inside Sales Representative Requirements:
· High School Diploma Required
· College degree or some college preferred
· Previous experience with inside sales, order entry is required
· Experience working with ERP systems
· Manufacturing or Distribution experience is required
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Customer Service /Inside Sales Representative Skills Needed:
· Work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Organizational skills
· Intermediate MS Word & Excel knowledge
