THE ROLE:

As a construction project manager you will play a critical management role and be involved in estimating, coordinating and managing aspects of construction projects. Job site visits and management will be necessary in this role.

 

JOB DUTIES:

Estimating, scheduling, planning and managing aspects of projects in various sizes and complexities.

Construction take offs and estimates.

Define projects scope of work and budgets.

Obtain pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and suppliers.

Communicate and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Supervise and manage field personnel.

Manage subcontractors on construction site.

Provide general administrative support when obtaining building permits.

Attend pre-bid conferences and participate in site visits.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree or certifications in construction management field preferred but not required.

5 years’ experience in commercial construction management.

Experience in estimating and project management.

Basic knowledge of construction contracts.

Ability to bid, negotiate and manage construction projects.

Honesty, integrity, respect, perseverance, and service in every aspect of your work.

Great communication skills.

Attention to details and ability to prioritize critical tasks.

Proficient in estimating software.
