Quality Control Lab Technician

Now hiring a Quality Control Lab Technician for a manufacturing company in Wadsworth.
Weekly pay ranging between $18 - $19.50 per hour, depending on experience.
The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for performing routine physical and mechanical testing on plastic specimens and samples. They will prepare plastic specimens by using the injection molding machine or other appropriate techniques.
Job duties:
- Perform routine testing by following prescribed written procedures and techniques.
- Report test results on appropriate forms and other required documentation.
- Maintain testing logs and prepare samples for testing as described.
- Operate equipment safely and observe all safety precautions.
- Troubleshoot and report any testing equipment issues.
- Check the testing equipment for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Inform R&D of any nonconforming specimens.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and write.
- Mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in Quality Control.
