We are looking for a full-time Print Media Account Manager for our Hampton Roads publication (must live in the South Hampton Roads area). We want someone to work with us from the ground up and help drive the success of the magazine.

Do you have at least two/three years of demonstrated sales success in home-improvement product sales or adverting sales?

We are picky and we hope you are as well. This position comes complete with an industry leading 94% Issue-to-Issue client retention, a full-time on-staff designer, in-office magazine support, nationwide peer-grouping idea-sharing and ongoing sales-focused training, and a giving Publisher who continues to thrive. Your core purpose is to gain the trust of new clients, earn back former ones, and serve your active advertisers – all with a collaborative in-house team in place to clear the path to make it easy for you to earn big

Our average advertising salesperson earns nearly $10,000 monthly throughout our 65 magazines nationally, and this opportunity is no different. Broad client base, forecasted growth, and a wide product offering. In addition to our in-magazine advertising, we offer a roster of extended inserts and direct-mail-labels that out-perform all other direct-mail in the market.

Niche print advertising is still king, and TheHomeMag is growing in our 20th year as the undisputed leader in home improvement direct-mail-marketing. Joining TheHomeMag is often an easy transition for those professionals with successful prior industry experience in companies similar to Valpak, Hometown Values, Clipper Magazine, RSVP, Money Mailer, and other fine home-improvement publications and direct mail products. This is a remote-work sales position with a real potential to make $100,000 plus a year. Our pay structure is based on a monthly draw (minimum base) with a strong commission earning percentage. A focus on retention of repeat clients and also on new clients each month. This is a very flexible time schedule job with in-house ongoing coaching & training, and the incredible feeling of helping your home improvement clients grow big – all without the hassle of extended overnight stays away from your home and family.
