Position: Project Manager

Assigned Responsibilities:

  • Represent and demonstrate the values of CRS: tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride.
  • Experience managing self-performed paver+block wall installations (or similar paving/landscaping work).
  • Responsible for the management of the entire project, including scheduling, cost management, coordination, quality, and safety.
  • “Owns” all aspects of the project. All personnel seek direction from the PM and look to them for direction.
  • Create and maintain a healthy team. This includes the CRS project team, owner, and client (prime/general contractor).
  • Proactively works to intentionally have a positive relationship with all internal and external team members.
  • Ability to participate in preconstruction services, including qualifying scope/docs, estimating (takeoff) and value engineering.
  • Ability to produce project submittals detailing the scope of work and other trade related details (including substitutions, comments, etc).
  • Supervisory responsibility of Project Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with other CRS team members to find alternative solutions.
  • Collaborate, monitor and manage Superintendent(s) performance on contracts and/or work orders.
  • Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
  • Point of contact for project management staff, architects, clients, owners, engineers and more
  • Understand all details of project scope of work.
  • Create and maintain project cost reports.
  • Responsible for coordinating and verifying WIP on all projects.
  • Document and coordinate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with clients (including doc revision coordination).
  • Develop and ensure implementation of the field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent.
  • Develop and enforce the project safety plan with Superintendent(s).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of construction experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the road and civil project markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
  • Experience managing self-performed work is required.
  • Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
  • Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Prefer experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, Quickbooks Enterprise, OnScreen Takeoff, Procore and Adobe.
  • Experience with a trade specific or related subcontractor is preferred.

We have experience in sand set pavers, bituminous set pavers and pedestal/tab set pavers. Additionally, we have experience with various types of materials, such as concrete pavers, clay pavers, granite pavers, limestone pavers and slab pavers and have worked with the best paver manufacturers across the nation.
