We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead CCTV Installer/Low-Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the safety and security of our clients.

 

Position Overview:

As a Lead CCTV Installer/Low-Voltage Technician at Platinum CCTV, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier security solutions to our diverse clientele. You will help develop, grow, and lead a team of technicians, ensuring the successful installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems and low-voltage equipment. Your expertise will drive the flawless execution of projects while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and other low-voltage solutions.
  • Develop practices and mentor entry-level technicians in the growth of their knowledge, skills, and overall career development.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute installations, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Meet with clients and perform site walk-throughs to ensure client needs are met, while developing a positive relationship.
  • Provide training to clients on system software usage on PC, MAC, and mobile devices.
  • Handle the setup, configuration, and integration of surveillance cameras, recording devices, network infrastructure, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions during installation and post-installation phases.
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and tools necessary for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all job sites.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and repairs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance your technical expertise.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in installing and maintaining CCTV systems and low-voltage equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking principles and IP configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with team members and clients.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass criminal background check.

Full-time only.

Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 /hour Depending on Experience and Skill level
