Job Summary:
The Corporate Tax team is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to primarily help support the income tax function. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for supporting the federal, state and international compliance as well as for preparing the US state & international tax provisions for financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:Support preparation of complex federal and state income tax returns for U.S. partnership structure, including a handful of disregarded entities, with extremely tight deadlinesSupport preparation of U.S. international tax information returnsOversee & manage review of the foreign country tax compliancePrepare federal and state quarterly estimatesManage transfer pricing support & maintain adequate documentation of transfer pricing policies/studiesRegister and file miscellaneous tax returns and reports, such as excise tax returns, state gross receipts tax returns, and annual reportsAssist senior tax analyst with noticesPrepare aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provision process, including a review of the foreign entity provisions and preparing income tax disclosuresDevelop processes to improve efficiency of the income tax processesDevelop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal and state income tax laws, legislation and current developmentsAssist HR dept. with assistance on payroll tax noticesAssist our business units with tax-related matters, such as W-9s, W-8BEN-EsSupport tax-planning projectsSpecial projects, as needed
Qualifications:Bachelors of Science in Accounting or FinanceCPA and/or Masters in Taxation preferredMinimum 7 years of experience including:International, Federal and stateWorking in a public accounting firm and/or corporation
Strong analytical and communication skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to organize and prioritize resources effectively
