About the Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor role:

  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
  • Prepares and records journal entries
  • Performs fixed asset analysis, documentation, and various reconciliations
  • Performs accounts receivable reconciliations and revenue recognition
  • Prepares commission calculations
  • Assists with year-end audits
  • Assists with month-end close activities
  • Process improvements that drive change throughout the month
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor:

  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • AS or BS in Accounting or related field / comparable experience
