Position Summary: Eventus Education is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our early childhood programs nationwide. The Operations Manager will work closely with each school's assistant director to ensure operational excellence, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for strategic planning, and a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee daily operations of all early childhood programs within the Eventus Education network.
    • Ensure all schools maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across all locations.
    • Serve as the corporate liaison with outsourced HR and payroll vendors to support campus leadership in the hiring, onboarding processes, and payroll for all employees.
  • Leadership and Support:
    • Supervise and support assistant directors, providing guidance and resources to help them manage their schools effectively.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative culture within each school, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
    • Conduct regular meetings with assistant directors to discuss operational challenges and solutions.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
    • Ensure all schools comply with local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in early childhood education laws and regulations and adjust policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Resource Management:
    • Review the budgets for each school, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of supplies, equipment, and facilities.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor the performance of each school through regular evaluations and assessments.
    • Identify areas for improvement and work with assistant directors to implement necessary changes.
    • Ensure the quality of education and care provided at each school meets Eventus Education’s standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and community members.
    • Address any operational concerns or issues raised by stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
    • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on operational achievements and address any concerns.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
    • Stay current with trends and best practices in early childhood education operations.
    • Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance operational processes and procedures.
    • Collaborate with educators, researchers, and industry experts to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel across the United States as needed.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to improving educational opportunities for young children.
