Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directs and leads primary business operations and assists with strategic development.
  • Directly responsible for maximizing profits on each project.
  • Review projects, contracts, owner agreements and head-up team to facilitate necessary additions and/or change agreements.
  • Ensure quality control plans, procedures, audits, sampling and engagement are taking place on every project.
  • Responsible for developing and executing capital expenditures for project budgets.
  • Propose, negotiate, and direct the selection of general trade partners and architectural design that is consistent with raybern group standards.
  • Organize, monitor and execute construction projects within budget and agreed timelines. 
  • Train and supervise department members in the proper execution of raybern group quality of standards, expectations, schedules, and specifications. 
  • Responsible for long-range construction planning related to meeting company growth strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensures construction, design and communities align with company mission, objectives, and values.
  • Responsible for establishing and overseeing company construction policies and procedures.
  • Stays abreast of construction trends, particularly within residential construction; both regionally and nationally
  • Tracks the availability of labor and the cost of materials and their impact of residential construction.
  • Monitors community modifications and changes to ensure budget adherence.
  • Monitors global construction trends to anticipate future progression within raybern group region and maintain construction costs.
  • Drive sales goals; focusing on inventory levels and understanding the competitions throughout the region.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • In Idaho, the public works construction management licensing act, 54-4505, requires that you hold a bachelor’s degree in architectural, engineering, or construction from an accredited college or university AND you must have a minimum of five years’ experience in managing construction projects.
  • Active construction manager license in good standing with the state of Idaho.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate and instruct use of power tools
  • Must pass a criminal background
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be able to work and remain in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

 

 

Preferred Skills and Background:

  • Proficient in cloud-based construction management software (Preferably Procore)
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 products like; Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
  • Superior organizational skills
