Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Work Location (Onsite, Hybrid, Remote): Onsite Santa Clara, CA (Local Candidates only who can be onsite at the Santa Clara, CA office - most likely 4 days Onsite, 1 day remote depending on business needs)

Duration: 6 months but high possibility of extension and conversion depending on performance and team fit

Pay Rate Range: $68/hr - $82/hr on w2

Job Description:

Manager Notes:

  • Will sit in the Hardware Team who manufactures the flash drives and the housing for these drives; including set up and infra for prototype builds.
  • The candidate will create annual operation plans and deployment schedules

REQUIREMENTS: will be declined if the candidate does not explicitly demonstrate the following on the resume:

  • Prior experience in data center infrastructure deployment and setup,
  • Must be technical
  • Must have handled multi-million deployment of hardware or cloud setups
  • Know the ordering process and its various dependencies
  • Familiarity with the big players in hardware deployment: Cisco, Broadcomm, etc.

Job Description:

  • Plan and execute hardware deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-function engineering teams including software developers, system test, mechanical, electrical, and technical program managers to collect each team's hardware infrastructure requirements.
  • Manage deployment schedules and ensure timely completion of all deployments.
  • Coordinate with the technical program managers, software development, operations, logistics, quality assurance, and infrastructure service support teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with deployments.
  • Continuously improve deployment processes and methodologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of deployment activities.
  • Communicate deployment status and issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure that all deployments are completed within budget.
  • Develop and maintain deployment documentation and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on deployment metrics and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide training and support to team members on deployment processes and tools.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree preferred

Experience:

  • If with a bachelor's degree, a minimum 4 years experience in a related role is required
  • Otherwise, the equivalent of a minimum 8 years of experience at a data center is required
