Job Description
Role: Technical Program Manager
Contract to hire.
Location- Preferred local to Bay area not limited. (locals will be given preference)
Remote is OK-West coast hours.

Plan, scope & lead execution and delivery of IT's most critical, complex and high visibility cross-functional programs.
Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to identify and resolve dependencies, coordinate change management requirements; manage risks and ensure high quality & on-time delivery within budget.
Manage communications ensuring all stakeholders receive timely and consistent messaging on all dimensions of the program.
Review and monitor key metrics of a program and take corrective actions for deviations.
Build & manage Program schedule, timelines, stakeholder engagement and drive trade-off conversations with senior leadership.
Drive POCs and tool evaluation process with external vendors as needed.
Help define mitigation strategies to remediate risks & issues and ensure that the value being delivered aligns to the product vision and business needs.
Drive operational excellence by following standardized process & delivery methodology and capacity/resource planning.
Drive sprint ceremonies on a regular basis and ensure cross-functional teams are aligned with the set of programs and priorities and informed of planned schedules for new or enhanced offerings.
Assist with IT intake, prioritization, quarterly/annual planning process and help drive portfolio health status updates with IT functional and business teams.

Skills:
Minimum 7 years of Program Management experience in an Agile environment
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex programs simultaneously.
Ability to set priorities and recommend trade-offs to keep teams focused.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, and a preparedness to take on what is needed to get things done.
Being able to influence & lead teams in a matrixed organization.
Experience working with IT teams and cross-functional business teams.
Well-versed in program management methodologies
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Experience using JIRA and Confluence
Prior work experience or a technical background is preferred.
Domain expertise in network security service offerings is a plus.
