Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician for our manufacturing client in Greensboro. Individuals who apply need to have excellent attention to detail, experience with precision measurement tools, and a background within the paint, ink or chemical manufacturing industry. This position works 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as required.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for all testing according to department quality and company standards, methods, and procedures.
  • Collect and test samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished ink batches using standardized testing procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure that products meet established quality specifications and industry standards.
  • Accurately document test results, observations, and deviations in detailed reports and logs.
  • Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, reporting any malfunctions or discrepancies.
  • Monitor production processes to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring consistency and adherence to production standards.
  • Investigate and analyze product defects, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with the production team to implement solutions.
  • Ensure all testing and quality control procedures comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to testing methods and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Quality Control/Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Preferably within the paint, ink or chemical manufacturing industries.
  • Must be flexible to work any necessary overtime.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory testing equipment and software, including spectrophotometers, viscometers, and colorimeters.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions.
