Personal Care Services Program Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated leader to join our team If you strive to make a difference in the life of others from infants to the elderly then this is the job for you.

This position entails advocating for our clients who are receiving non-medical home care services. This includes but is not limited to submitting reports to the state of NM regarding the care of the clients, assisting and guiding members who become ineligible for personal care services in the right direction to reinstate their services, answering questions that the clients may have about their Medicaid benefits such as renewals.

This position does require some travel to satellite offices.

Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Personal Care Services Program Coordinator is responsible for providing the highest customer service to consumers by responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns regarding the services provided by the company.

SCOPE

The Personal Care Services Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that consumers are receiving the quality care they need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Comply with all HIPPA, State, and Managed Care Organization (MCO) regulations.

2) Communicate with consumers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information, and address complaints.

3) Compile, copy, sort, and file records of consumers.

4) Operate office equipment, such as photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems, and computer systems.

5) Responsible for keeping office well-ordered and clean.

6) Responsible for submitting critical incident reports in a timely manner to all Managed Care Organization's, as well as tracking and following up on submitted reports to remain in compliance.

7) Overseeing consumer files to ensure they are complete and accurate.

8) Communicate with each branch office’s Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) files and following up with staff to ensure they are complete and accurate.

9) Schedule all nurse visits for each branch office’s Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) in a timely manner.

10) Oversee that supervisory visits , eligibility, growth and loss reports are completed in a timely manner.

11) Follow up on the completion of Closure reports MAD062 Forms.

12) Monitor and address complaints to ensure consumer satisfaction.

13) Offer information to members on the best course of action when faced with difficulties such as, Benefit Enrollment, Eligibility loss, and other like matters.

14) Refer clients to community services that may be beneficial to them and their well-being.

15) Comply data from all monthly reports into a concise spreadsheet for upper management as requested.

16) Protecting Any Information pertaining to At-Home Personal Care is the property of At-Home Personal Care Services LLC. (No Exceptions)

17) Communicate and work with all branch offices to ensure that each consumer is receiving all the personal care service hours that they have been authorized by their MCO.

18) Complete and submit all reports in a timely manner.
