- Directly oversee food manufacturing facility operations

- Ensure compliance with FDA and Health Department standards

- Build policies and procedures to maintain facility, equipment, and safety requirements

- Build recruitment and retention programs for production and quality assurance staff

- Manage supplier agreements and supply chain to meet minimum inventory levels

- Develop KPIs including daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track team productivity

- Establish incentive programs and monitor achievement of team goals

- Represent organization in manufacturing trade groups and community organizations

Requirements:

- 10 years experience in food or food by-products manufacturing

- 5-10 years in industrial or commercial manufacturing

- Certifications in food safety and food manufacturing

- Six Sigma and lean manufacturing experience

- 5-10 years experience with managing a P&L in a manufacturing center
