Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Store Manager with previous management experience to oversee the daily operations of our 501 E 1st St in Del Rio, TX. This foundational position requires a jack-of-all-trades personality to manage all aspects of store operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and lead a team of dedicated employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Salary and Benefits:
Starting Salary: $1,600 Bi-weekly* (*Equivalent to $17.77/hr for candidates with industry & market experience)
Performance Bonus: $600/month
Paid Time Off: Up to 30 PTO & sick days a year
Medical Insurance: Premium medical insurance at $65 biweekly
Qualifications:
Proven experience in store management or a similar role required, preferably in the automotive retail industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
Proficient in stock management and visual merchandising techniques.
Familiarity with payroll systems and time management software.
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals.
Strong mathematical skills for cash handling and financial reporting.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Previous experience as an Assistant Manager is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and achieve store targets.
Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Ensure compliance with GAP policies and procedures.
Train, motivate, and supervise a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service.
Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Create employee schedules and manage payroll efficiently.
Collaborate with regional management to ensure smooth store operations.
Assist in the hiring, training, promotion, audits, and disciplinary procedures for team members.
Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and inventory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local community.
