Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Generate and send out invoices, statements, and account summaries to customers.
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and take necessary actions to ensure timely collection.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing issues promptly and professionally via phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the accounting system.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to develop and implement effective collection strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
  • Strong customer service experience with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Excellent phone skills with the ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
