Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and process accounting emails, invoices, and correspondence from vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate with company managers to provide excellent service to internal team members, customers, and vendors.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, assign G/L codes, and input invoices into Epicor.
- Reconcile company credit cards monthly, matching transactions with receipts or purchase orders.
- Assist in cycle counts and year-end inventory as needed.
- Participate in the month-end closing process, including inputting sales, sales tax, and deposits received, inventory adjustments, intercompany transfers, bank and postage reconciliations, and preparing reports.
- Assist in preparing 1099 forms and other tax-related documents.
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures, analyzing current processes and recommending changes.
- Protect company information by maintaining confidentiality.
- Team mentality, purpose-driven, innovative, compassionate, proactive, and forward-thinking.
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with others, and fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on tight timelines.
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Epicor preferred but not required.
- 2-3 years of experience with increasing responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
This is a full-time position with a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will be able to sit, stand, and walk for up to 10 hours per day and repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. Limited travel may be required for training activities.
