As a Computer System Administrator, your primary responsibilities are to analyze, troubleshoot, maintain, design, and support our small business environments. You will work on all client systems, applications, and programs, which each client uses. You must help with all departments in each assigned business as needed, and be willing to assist in critical situations. You may be required to work an occasional evening or weekend on a server install or maintenance of your client’s infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities: Computer System Administrator

  • Provides day-to-day technical support to Small - Medium Business Account
  • Network and desktop systems software and hardware.
  • Performs general maintenance tasks
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems and workstations.
  • Maintains data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.
  • Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
  • May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system.
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment
  • Create and maintain manuals and support documentation



Position Requirements: Small Business Associate

  • Candidates must be Comp Tia A+ Certified
  • Associates or higher degree related to Information Technology
  • Experience with PC operating systems and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Apple products.
  • Experience working in enterprise environment.
  • Candidates should have 2-3 years’ experience supporting PC Hardware and Software.
  • Work well independently – minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Knowledge of networking including switching, routing, IP subnets and routing protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to facilitate interactions with business clients and members of other technology teams
  • Ability to communicate, and present verbally and written
  • Experience with current networking best practices in IT standards and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent technical documentation skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to carry, move and install equipment
  • Commitment to keep up-to-date with IT trends and developments
  • Valid Driver’s license in the United States, reliable transportation
  • Maintain a clean, neat professional appearance

Applicants should also be customer service oriented and have good communication skills. Working hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 AM until 5 PM with occasional after hours work needed based on current projects.
