Job DescriptionJob Description

The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of KEG 1 Colorado. This role is responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, coordinating training sessions, maintaining employee records, and providing general administrative support. The HR Coordinator will ensure that HR functions are carried out smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Recruiting: Manage job postings, resume screening, and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment process and manage candidate tracking systems. Prepare offer letters and other related documentation.
  2. Onboarding: Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including scheduling orientations, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed. Assist with the setup of new employees in the HRIS and other relevant systems. Conduct orientation to familiarize new hires with company policies and procedures.
  3. Employee Relations Support: Provide first-level support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events, such as team-building activities and company celebrations. Address employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  4. Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management. Communicate coverage(s) and answer questions relative to existing employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401(k) plan, and any other supplemental benefit programs offered through the Company. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees' inquiries related to benefits and assist with open enrollment processes.
  5. Training and Development Coordination: Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and other professional development activities. Track employee training attendance and completion, and maintain records of certifications and training achievements in HRIS. Assist in the development of training materials and resources, when requested.
  6. Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records utilizing the HRIS system. Handle all employee personnel changes – personal information, position, salary changes, terminations, etc. Handle confidential information with discretion and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Assist with updating and maintaining the HRIS system.
  7. HR Reporting: Generate and prepare HR reports as requested by management, such as turnover rates, recruitment status, and employee demographics. Assist with data analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Colorado Springs location, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining calendars. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Education – high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience – 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role or administrative position
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and basic HR functions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
