Position Overview: We are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and capable Ecommerce Account Manager to become part of our team. In this role, you will be crucial in overseeing relationships with top brands in the ecommerce space, boosting sales, and assisting with strategic initiatives to grow market share. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in ecommerce and B2B sales, along with expertise in project coordination and negotiations, with a proven history of successfully handling key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Growth and Sales Performance: Contribute to sales growth and the overall performance of your B2B account portfolio, which includes well-known brands such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, Crate and Barrel, etc. Support the ecommerce category growth to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Lead Acquisition and Engagement: Participate in trade shows, engage with existing leads, and reach out to target businesses to build new relationships and sales channels. Occasionally travel to meet with customers and prospects for product training, program presentations, and negotiations.

Strategic Category Development: Assist in the development and implementation of a category plan that delivers an excellent customer experience, featuring a diverse product range, competitive pricing, high stock levels, and efficient delivery times.

Data-Driven Strategy Execution: Utilize analytical tools to evaluate data, identify market trends, and contribute to the execution of key initiatives that support strategic goals. Key performance indicators include revenue, price competitiveness, product availability, conversion rates, and inventory turnover.

Customer Expansion: Identify and explore new opportunities for customers to broaden their product offerings and enhance their business growth, with a focus on strengthening relationships with top-tier brands.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflows, supporting merchandising strategies, promotional activities, marketing efforts, product trends, pricing, profitability, and overall operational efficiency.

Customer Negotiation and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and assist in negotiating terms that ensure positive customer experiences and competitive advantages. This includes conducting contract analysis and ensuring that partner agreements align with strategic objectives, particularly in pricing, delivery, and product assortment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Associate’s degree with relevant work experience will also be considered).
  • At least 2 years of experience in ecommerce sales and B2B sales, with a proven ability to manage and grow sales with well-known brands.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, with the ability to perform detailed analysis and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong skills in interpreting data and making strategic decisions. Capable of presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner through emails, charts, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and collaborate across departments.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and empathetic.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel and adjust work hours as needed for trade shows and business demands.
  • Proficient in using computers, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as NetSuite and CommerceHub, is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with major brands in home and outdoor living categories.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of implementing promotional programs.
  • Experience with CRM software and data analytics tools.
