We are seeking an Administrative Assistant/Rental Agent to join our team You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.  This role is somewhat of a dual role for the time being.  You'd be doing a mix of customer service and administrative tasks, probably about a 50/50 mix of both.  You are working in the front office of our business, but there's a fair bit of administrative (light accounting, paperwork, etc) that goes along with it.  Our lobby has none to very little people in it most of the time.  We're a rapidly growing company so the role would come with a fair bit of learning, and growing/changing as time goes on.  We offer a relatively flexible work environment and a good environment to learn about a growing business.

We're willing to train the right person.  The last person in this role was someone fresh out of college with very little experience who did very well and we taught him everything.  He's going back to school and, despite our offers to keep him, further education is the right choice for him.

We would like someone that works very well with others and is easy going.  We have a very calm, non-conflict work environment and we very much strive to keep it that way.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule appointments and events
  • Greet and onboard existing/new customers
  • Answer inbound telephone calls and text messages
  • Develop and implement organized filing systems
  • Perform light accounting tasks such as entering invoices, credit card receipts, reconciling vendor accounts, etc.
  • Be a liaison between our rental customer and the mechanics to help them get repairs completed rapidly and efficiently
  • Inspect ready rental vehicles for cleanliness and readiness
  • Assess and qualify potential customers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with a computer and basic technology
  • Being able to type above 60 WPM a plus
