We are excited about the opportunity to welcome you to Mechanical Services Southern Nevada and look forward to your contributions to our team. Here at Mechanical Services, our technicians are expected to fulfill the following job duties:
- Be able to competently and efficiently diagnose and repair HVAC mechanical systems, including but not limited to, the following: Rooftop system ranging from 1.5-50+ tons, split systems, VRF, VAV, ductless, and controls for said systems. There will always be a manager to back up and help diagnose but only when needed. If any additional tools or resources are needed to perform a job, you are to reach out to management to gain approval for said tools or resources before purchasing.
- All technicians are expected to be able to acclimatize their bodies to different environmental temperature conditions.
- All technicians must be able to bend, twist, and be physically able to perform needed tasks in the field. All technicians must be physically able to lift to 50 lbs. (refrigerant tanks, small compressors, etc.) by themselves. All technicians must be able to assess the situation of all diagnostics and repairs… If help is needed, please reach out to management If a technician needs help, they must inform management immediately (NO TECHNICIAN SHOULD BE PUTTING THEIR BODIES IN RISK OF BEING INJURED OR IMPAIRED).
- If a crane is needed to perform a repair, all technicians must inform management or input this into their call or estimate. If a technician’s job is too stressful, difficult or life-threatening, communicate with management before leaving the job. We value our team members and will do what we can to help. Communication is key to a successful working relationship.
- Our goal here is to help our clients but not harm our technician.
