Position Title: Commercial Service HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • The HVAC Service Technician will oversee the operations, repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance of commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of boilers, air handlers, fan coil units, controls, and other mechanical and electrical systems within buildings.
  • Technicians should be knowledgeable about kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including all types of refrigerants.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatch Team to ensure timely and complete execution of workload.
  • Maintain safe work practices in accordance with OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards while performing assigned duties.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining similar commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and perform tasks with minimal supervision in isolated settings.
  • Knowledge and experience in the safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary for all work assignments.
  • A valid Driver's license with a good driving record is required.
  • Capability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to dust masks, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
  • Familiarity with desktop computers and internet-based programs for job-related tasks.
  • Must wear a company uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
  • This position will necessitate a background check and drug screening.
