The ideal candidate will: 1) possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; 2) be extremely detail oriented; 3) be well organized; 4) have excellent document review (for accuracy/typographical errors) capabilities; and 5) be able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with minimal supervision. Previous foreclosure, REO and/or Title experience a plus, but not required.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Request and receive title reports from numerous vendors based on various client directives.

- Review title reports, quality check automated data in internal case management system, and data entry missing information.

- Perform title examinations, primarily for residential abstracts, analyzing records for mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plat & map books to determine ownership, and verify completeness and accuracy of legal descriptions.

- Identify title issues and notate the same in internal case management system along with various clients’ systems.

- Communicate (verbal and written) with necessary parties to obtain discharges and/or payoffs on liens and judgments.

- Prepare and submit title claims to the insurer on behalf of the insured client.

- Research and retire mobile home titles based on state specific procedures.

- Ensure clear and insurable title for post-sale conveyance to investors, including governmental agencies and entitles – FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA & FHLMC.

- Monitor and work an active pipeline of title files, while ensuring new files are timely completed pursuant to client SLAs.

- Ensure timely notification of title issues on files through specified clients’ systems or emails.

- Maintain daily workload of tasks and step completions within clients’ systems and the firm’s internal case management system.
