We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team

We are a pump manufacturer/distributor that specializes in the commercial/municipal/industrial markets. We are looking for an experienced sales representative in the industry.

Core Clients/Prospects:

  • Plumbing Contractors
  • Plumbing Supply houses
  • HVAC Supply houses
  • Mechanical Contractors
  • Consultant engineers
  • MEP Engineers
  • Architects
  • Commercial/Municipal and Industrial End Users

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Have experience with submersible, self priming, vertical multi-stage, end suction, split case pumps, etc.
  • Have an understanding of sizing pumps and pumping systems
  • Experienced in the industry and understand commercial/industrial sales
  • Understanding of rotating equipment repairs and new equipment sales
  • Experienced with the application of controls, valves, piping, fittings, motors, etc.
  • Experienced with opening new client accounts through various sales channels

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Must have a valid drivers' license
  • Be able to consistently and effectively call on clients & distributors
  • Great Communication Skills, Organized, Self Starter

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related electro-mechanical fields
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
