ASME, AS9100D and ISO 9000 certified shop. experience in both fast-paced and precision job shop environment, quality control and manufacturing processes. Experience should include management of in-process and final inspection of components using visual and dimensional inspections to controlled procedures. Mentoring of team members on quality methods, internal auditing, root cause, corrective actions, and documenting non-conformances for AS9100D and ISO 9000 certified machining processes. Knowledge of commercial aerospace industry and inspection, destructive and non-destructive testing.

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured products and processes in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and upholding high standards of quality within the DMC organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP standards.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements in accordance with ASME, AS9100D and ISO 9000.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures, including documentation and record-keeping systems.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, deviations, and non-conformances in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with QA Manager to address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Participate in the development and revision of SOPs, quality procedures, and training materials as needed.
  • Perform risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and quality system certifications as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong understanding of GMP principles, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance tools, methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
