A production and manufacturing multi-location company is looking to hire an experienced Production Manager to supervise and control all strategic operations on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be first in command on the plant floor and responsible for providing proper strategic direction and creating a vision for success To be successful, the candidate should be knowledgeable in lean manufacturing and production, should understand the importance of collecting data and making changes accordingly, should mentor rather than replace employees, be hands-on and social, and bring value to the position and the company. Responsibilities:

Plan high quality manufacturing strategies and ensure their alignment with short and long term objectives Lead, motivate and develop a high performing managerial team Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure quality control and consistency with overall strategy and mission and remain within budget Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies and maintain business ethics Build trusting relationships with key partners and act as point of contact in the company Analyze problems and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth Ensure machinery and equipment perform at optimal level Coordinate with quality control personnel to ensure products meet superior standards and generate positive client feedback Analyze workflow, space requirements and equipment layout and plan improvements when necessary Guarantee company and industry standards are consistently met Confer with department supervisors to coordinate plant activities (production, sales, record control and purchasing) Safeguard plant operations and content by establishing and monitoring security procedures Maintain safe work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures Skills:

2 years proven experience as general plant manager in a manufacturing setting Experience in Poly manufacturing a PLUS In depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organization and leadership skills Analytical abilities and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess data driven approach to decision making and to understanding the business Strong ethical responsibility to top level management and coworkers Exude positive energy and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft office products.
