Job DescriptionJob Description

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Wood Production Worker for a wood manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This is a temporary project with potential for being extended longer. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $21-$22
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 -10 hours daily 2nd Shift 6pm to 2:30am with mandatory over time as need

Job summary: Depending on assignment, successful candidates may do any of the following duties:

  1. Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
  2. Work on door assembly line building doors
  3. Inspect all product for quality
  4. Machining doors for hardware installation
  5. Material preparation and material handling
  6. Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
  7. Inspecting and sorting doors. Will need to be to flip doors throughout whole shift.
  8. Other general warehouse duties as needed
  9. In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules

Preferred Experience/Requirements:

  1. Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
  2. Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
  3. General knowledge of building materials
  4. Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
  5. Must be able to lift up 405lbs 8-10 hours daily as the position requires the flipping of doors and checking for damages.
  6. Must have good attention to detail.
  7. Must have steel toe shoes or steel toe boots
  8. Must be willing to submit to drug test and background prior to start
  9. Open to working overtime with little notice
