DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Payroll Duties:
o Payroll is processed bi-weekly.
o Down loading time from Portland, Oakland and Seattle.
o Review each employee to make sure electronic punches were recorded. Adjust if necessary.
o Within payroll system, review each employee for previous week deductions (i.e., garnishments, cash borrowings, misc.) Change if necessary.
o Input payroll into system, perform backups, both E-time and ADP, transmit payroll.
o Review returned payroll packet from ADP.
o Prepare checks for distribution to other locations.
o Prepare Journal Voucher.
o Update vacation schedule.
o Prepare 401-k report to John Hancock.
· Health Insurance Duties:
o Input and make changes to employee health records as needed.
o Prepare insurance billings for A/P processing for Medical, Dental, Vision, & LTD for all locations.
· Workers Compensation Duties:
o Preparation of Workers Compensation billings for all locations.
· Human Resources Duties:
o Renewals of all heath benefits as it relates to Medical, Dental and Vision.
o Updating employee policies as needed or become applicable.
o Direct and coordinate activities related to the company picnic, company Holiday party (PDX Only), Thanksgiving and Christmas Gift Cards and any other employee related benefit.
o Managers Meetings.
o Investigations with regard to employee complaints, such as harassment or discrimination. Additionally, issues related to policy violations.
o Coordinate Flex-Plan and 401k meetings at all locations.
o Attend and participate in SHRM annual conference.
o Organize and administer Strategic Planning session. (Project)
o Draft letters, as necessary, for Jury Duty, Letters of Recommendation, etc.
o Manage hiring for all departments, using sources like Indeed.
· Other Duties
o 401k Match.
o 1095-C/1094-C for Affordable Care Act.
